Nowadays Uber and Cabify are catching up with the taxi service (which is in decline, really). Install the app and use it and if you can't do that ask someone from the hotel or your airbnb host to do it for you. Tourists love to go to La Boca and San Telmo but we locals don't go there. I'd rather hang out in Recoleta, Palermo and Belgrano.

I'm from Buenos Aires, and the video was on point. The only thing that has changed a little since it was filmed, it's the broken sidewalks. This year the city government has been repairing the sidewalks and changing the broken floor tiles.

Now that the Marxists got in power again, the economy will be ruined and the peso will fall even more. It will be a bargain for tourists, but crime will surely increase a lot.

You have hit the nail on the head with this video. I have been living here for 11 years and the frustrations you mention still annoy me from time to time. It is however a great place to visit and live and the Argentine people are very friendly.

Welcome to my country!! ???????????????? Use UBER or Cabify!! Taxis are shady here (even with us), public transportation is hella cheap tho but it could be bit confusing for tourists. Pedestrians are a priority here, just obey the traffic lights and you are good. Go to Palermo, Puerto Madero, Tigre, Belgrano, visit our public gardens and our Colon Theatre, and PARTY with us!! Buenos Aires is beautiful by day AND by night, not many cities can say that. I live up north and there are so many things to do/see around here. ????????????????????????????????????
