I have not even finished watching your video yet but i just wanted to say a massive thank you for being so respectful and articulate about this city. I work at the Museum of Liverpool and speak about the city every day while delivering tours and I really like & respect how you conduct yourselves when visiting, its actually so refreshing. Thank You again! Enjoy your travels 🙂

The ' Beatles ' came and went, but the other jewel in Liverpool's cultural crown is the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra which was founded in 1840 and, unlike the aforementioned pop-group , is still going strong !

Shame that less than a mile from liverpool city centre poverty is rife. Dodgy political liverpool leaders look after the city and themselves only. and neglect the poorest and most vulnerable people in liverpool society less than a mile away from the city centre.

  4. Andrea Merciar says:

and here's what Melville wrote about Liverpool Docks in 1849:
"Liverpool may justly claim to have originated the model of the "Wet
Dock," so called, of the present day; and every thing that is connected
with its design, construction, regulation, and improvement. Even London
was induced to copy after Liverpool, and Havre followed her example. In
magnitude, cost, and durability, the docks of Liverpool, even at the
present day surpass all others in the world."
My home town – A fantastic city, with world-class architecture, and a great location. I am exiled in London but will go back home one day . . . 😉

I was born and raised in Liverpool, I lived there for the first 21 years of my life before moving to the other side of the world to New Zealand… This video makes me both proud of where I came from but also quite homesick as I haven't been home since I moved here 8 years ago. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the cities hospitality and history. I do feel like a day isn't enough though, there are so many other things to see and do – maybe next time.

How can you have a ‘perfect day’ in Liverpool – it’s a dump and ‘scousers’ are the worst form of chav-life in the UK – you’ve just left the Lake District for God’s sake !!

  7. Atma Kali says:

Try the suburbs. Not the Beatle suburbs. It’s like a horror story. Inbreeding, stabbings, 4 year olds arrested for sex crimes and drug trafficking, people trapped inside their houses effectively under curfew after 6:00pm for fear of being shot or stabbed.
Google any of the above for verification. I know. I live there.

  8. matthew linford says:

Love it when my home city gets spoken about in a good way. It mostly gets dissed all the time and it gets on me nerves. I have a strong scouse accent and I don't care who or how people talk about it I'm proud to be a Scouser cos of the city i live in. Thanks for this lads really appreciate it

  9. Catprincess says:

I’m from Liverpool too. It’s ironic that these men state about money going to peoples heads….in that the people who made money from slavery…( yes the same wealthy people who own big Banks, land, companies and some are MPs in parliament today who etc today….) are still treating people as commodities today. Just a thought….Oh btw…no pickpockets in Liverpool.

  10. Liverpool TV says:
